Quality Technician – Solar Power Plant
We are recruiting a Quality Technician on behalf of our client, a global EPC & O&M provider delivering turnkey utility‑scale solar power plants. As their project pipeline grows, this role will join the on‑site execution team in Arad, supporting quality control activities for a large‑scale photovoltaic project.
In this role, you will perform daily quality inspections, verify material compliance, witness tests, and maintain accurate quality documentation. You will work closely with the HSE & Quality Manager and site teams to ensure that all civil, electrical, and mechanical works meet project specifications, ITP requirements, and approved standards.
This is a hands‑on, on‑site role, ideal for someone detail‑oriented who wants to grow in quality management within the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
Perform daily quality inspections on civil, electrical, and mechanical works according to ITPs.
Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Inspect incoming materials and check proper storage/handling.
Witness and document tests (concrete, soil, cables) and verify equipment calibration.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain audit‑ready documentation (ITPs, certificates, NCRs).
Identify and report non‑conformances; support NCR documentation, corrective actions, and close‑out.
Coordinate inspections with supervisors, contractors, subcontractors, and testing agencies.
Communicate quality issues promptly to the HSE & Quality Manager; participate in daily coordination meetings.
Support internal/external audits, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain material traceability and proper filing of quality records.
Key Deliverables (KPIs)
ITP inspections completed and documented on schedule.
Incoming materials inspected within 24 hours of delivery.
Accurate and timely inspection reports and quality records.
NCRs identified and reported within 24 hours.
Corrective actions verified and closed within agreed timelines.
Audit‑ready documentation maintained at all times.
Zero quality escapes due to missed inspections or poor documentation.
Active participation in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
Candidate Profile
Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Quality Management.
2–4 years of experience in quality control / QA/QC (construction, energy, industrial).
Familiarity with ITPs, QC procedures, inspection techniques, and construction standards.
Knowledge of material testing methods and ISO 9001 principles.
Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Good communication skills; MS Office proficiency.
Basic English knowledge.
Driver’s license (advantage).
Availability for full‑time on‑site work (Grăniceri, Arad).
