Your role includes supervising land preparation, foundations, structures, trackers, module installation, DC/AC cabling, MV/HV systems, testing and commissioning.
You will coordinate subcontractors, validate compliance with specifications, resolve technical issues, and ensure that each work front is delivered on time to the next discipline. Quality assurance will be central to your work, including inspections, documentation, non‑conformity management and adherence to IFC drawings.
You will enforce HSE procedures, conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe execution across all activities, especially heavy equipment operations, electrical works and working at height. Planning and reporting will also be part of your routine, including lookahead schedules, progress updates, risk identification and mitigation proposals.
Skills & Competencies
The role requires strong technical knowledge of civil works, mechanical assemblies and electrical installation for PV plants, including geotechnical works, structures, cabling, testing and commissioning. You must be able to interpret civil layouts, mechanical assembly drawings and electrical schematics, and understand relevant IEC and construction standards.
Strong leadership, organization, decision‑making and communication skills are essential, together with the ability to work under pressure and solve problems in a multicultural environment. A degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is mandatory. A Master’s degree in Construction or Power Engineering is an advantage. You should have at least five years of experience in large‑scale construction site management, ideally in PV or HV substation projects, and a proven track record in multidisciplinary execution.
