We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Buyer (French-speaking) to join a leading engineering firm based in Bucharest, part of an international group delivering complex infrastructure and industrial projects across Europe. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a network of supplier contacts

• Conduct market analysis and supplier research

• Launch supplier consultations and manage procurement dossiers

• Select suppliers based on technical and commercial criteria

• Negotiate contracts for equipment, products, and services

• Analyze supplier offers and ensure alignment with technical specifications

• Participate in bid preparation and project execution teams

• Maintain and update supplier databases and product/service catalogs

• Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans

• Manage procurement budgets and ensure cost optimization

• Resolve non-conformities related to deliveries or services

• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and contractual obligations

• Prepare procurement schedules aligned with project deadlines

• Draft activity reports and maintain accurate procurement records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, including in a similar role

• Strong knowledge of technical specifications and industrial equipment

• Advanced French proficiency (written and spoken) – mandatory

• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and planning skills

• Strong sense of initiative and teamwork
