Responsibilities

Manage the full accounting cycle for the assigned entities, ensuring financial integrity and strict compliance with Romanian legislation;

Prepare and verify the monthly trial balance, ensuring all reconciliations are completed accurately and on time;

Develop and finalize the annual financial statements and balance sheets;

Prepare, verify, and submit all mandatory tax declarations to the Romanian fiscal authorities;

Maintain a professional and proactive relationship with regulatory and fiscal bodies, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met;

Stay updated on changes in Romanian fiscal legislation to ensure the organization’s continuous compliance.

Deliver periodic financial reports and ad-hoc analysis to provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

Proven solid experience (Senior level) in full-cycle accounting;

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting;

English – Mandatory (used for communication). German is a "nice to have" but not required;

Strong understanding of Romanian accounting standards and fiscal legislation;

Highly organized and attentive to detail, with the ability to track irregular, project-specific activities alongside standard routines.
