Senior SQL Developer

For our business partner, a leading provider of electronic payment solutions in Romania, we are looking for a Senior SQL Developer to join their world-class community of talented teams.

Their mission is to make the future of payments safer, more modern, and more adapted to the customer's needs, so they will continue to develop services to make life better for people and transform the way they experience the process of bill payments.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
  • Complete ad hoc requests for research into and updating of data directly within the SQL Server
  • Improve SQL stored procedure for reports.
  • Support for debugging SQL problems and applications that are using SQL servers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of accountants, IT professionals, project managers, and business partners throughout the software development lifecycle to deliver dynamic, high-quality software and reporting solutions
  • Participate in the process of improving data quality: defines, implements, tests, and improves checks for data quality in order to ensure the required data quality for reporting purposes
  • Validate report functionality with internal staff/end users
  • Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4+ years experience with SQL Server or any other RDBMS databases
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing T-SQL
  • Experience working with SQL Reporting Service
  • Experience with SQL Server Administration -Nice to have
  • Experience with Azure Synapse (Data warehouse), Qlik or Power BI, or Azure Data Bricks -nice to have
  • Advanced query and report design skills
  • Analytical with strong attention to detail.
