For our business partner, a fast-growing software company, with a passion for developing software solutions designed to make people's daily lives easier, using the latest technologies, we are looking for a creative React Native Developer to join their young and dynamic development team in Bucharest.

You will be part of a passionate and respected team with innovative projects running across the mobile world.

Main responsibility:

• Become a part of the development team to design and build mobile applications;
• Follow coding best practices and provide feedback on pull requests;
• Help to solve problems that can occur in production applications (including security risks and bugs);
• Help maintain high code quality, organization, and automatization;
• Be up to date with the latest technologies provided by Google and the mobile community, and apply them to the benefit of the products;
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement of software delivery processes and outcomes;

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field;
• At least 4+ years experience in software development, of which 2+ years with React Native;
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds;
• Strong knowledge of ECMAScript 6;
• Strong knowledge of Android and iOS ecosystems;
• Working knowledge in HTTP, REST API, and API testing tools;
• Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance;
• Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
• To be open-minded and eager to find out more about modern technologies and how to use them;
• To pro-actively seek solutions and come up with proposals to improve and optimize
• Excellent communication and people skills, attention to detail;
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken;

Nice to have:

• Experience in either Android or iOS native development - is a BIG plus;
• Knowledge of back-end technologies like PHP, Java, Python, and Node.js;
• Non-relational and relational database knowledge;
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices;
