The successful candidate should be a strong problem-solver, passionate about software quality assurance, and able to build highly scalable solutions.

Responsibility

• Interacting with clients to understand product requirements
• Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
• Executing tests on software usability
• Design and develop test cases
• Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability
• Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
• Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems
• Design and develop automation scripts when needed
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
• Provide timely solutions
• Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle
• Provide support and documentation
• Ensuring that new software products are ready for consumer use
• Working with development teams to prevent issues with new products

Requirements

• At least 3+years of experience as a Software Tester or similar role.
• Experience using common testing tools for web services Postman/SoapUI /Swagger UI
• Experience with any scripting language is an advantage
• Experience using Git, Jira (or similar)
• Experience with Linux OS
• Knowledge of SQL
• Good understanding of HTTP, web services, REST APIs
• Basic knowledge of networking principles
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Information security experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
