Territory Sales Manager (Bucharest, East & South Region)

For our business partner – one of the main windows and doors systems producers, we are looking for a Territory Sales Manager to expand the customer base and achieve sales quotas in the territory assigned.

Our business partner has over 15 years’ experience in the industry and it is present in markets such as France, Belgium, Italy, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Switzerland, Greece, Canada.

To be successful in this role, you should have prior experience in technical sales field, developing relationships with DIY stores and working with distribution channels while taking accountability for reaching targets.

Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.


  • Responsible for all sales activities and customer contact towards achieving agreed business plans
  • Development and implementation of the sales strategy at the area level
  • Negotiation of contractual terms and follow-up of contracts
  • Support distribution customers if the regional business requires it
  • Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
  • Product assembly overseeing for Leroy Merlin customers
  • Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
  • Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships
  • Prepare weekly report containing regional sales results
  • Participate in the development and review of the annual budget for the area of responsibility
  • Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction


  • 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales - Building Materials, Constructions, or related fields are preferred
  • Prior work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager or similar senior sales roles
  • Technical mindset, able to understand and explain complex products
  • A good understanding of DIY store operations and distribution networks is an advantage
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Very good communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
  • Availability for business travelling in territory assigned
  • A Civil Engineering degree or similar is much appreciated
